About Me
Even as a small child, I seemed to always be aware of how people around me were feeling. As time went on, I learned that I have a natural aptitude for helping others work through difficult situations in their lives. It was my desire to know how to do this in the most effective and ethical way that led me to formally study psychology, and to continue training with the leaders in my field every year since. I obtained my Master of Arts Degree in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle in 1995 and have been providing services as a licensed psychotherapist in private practice for over 25 years.
With extensive experience working with people suffering from anxiety, depression, grief/loss, LGBT, health issues, trauma, relationship dynamics, spiritual crisis, and a variety of other concerns; I am continually humbled and inspired by the courage in others to heal and move forward.
My approach is client-centered which means that I spend time getting to know your current situation as well as any related past events. I listen carefully to what you say you would like to change and we work together to create a treatment plan to achieve your goals.
If you would like to know more about my specific approach and whether or not I may be a good fit for your specific concerns, you may reach me on the contact page or at the below:
